Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy extended greetings to the entire teaching fraternity on the occasion of Teacher’s Day on September 5.
It is a proud moment that the nation is celebrating Teachers Day on the birth anniversary of famous educationist and former President ‘Bharat Ratna’ Dr Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, the Chief Minister said, commending the teachers for taking the responsibility of shaping the students as the best citizens in the society.
In a message on Wednesday, the CM remembered the important role played by the teaching community during the intensified Telangana movement, and the people’s government held them in high regard.
He said that his government took many decisions, such as solving the promotions pending for the last 15 years and transfers, and also issued DSC notifications for the appointments of teachers who play an important role in the development of society.
The Chief Minister appealed to the teaching community to take inspiration from Radhakrishnan and dedicate their services for the future of the students.
