Hyderabad: The Special Intensive Revision (SIR) campaign for voter lists in Telangana is gaining momentum across social media platforms, with Munsif News 24×7, vloggers, influencers, student organisations and social activists encouraging people to participate in the voter registration process. Several short videos circulating on social media explain how voters can search the SIR-2002 voter list online using their own details or the details of their parents, grandparents or maternal grandparents.

The videos also explain what documents will be required if a person’s name is not found in the voter list.

According to the report, these videos are being viewed by thousands of people, with many content creators also earning financial benefits from the growing viewership.

Telangana CEO, BLOs and Munsif News 24×7 Also Supporting Campaign

The Telangana Chief Electoral Office has been regularly publishing videos and informational posters on its official social media platforms.

These posts explain the complete SIR procedure, provide guidance on filling forms and answer common public queries.

The Munsif News 24×7 YouTube channel is also broadcasting awareness videos related to the campaign.

Meanwhile, Booth Level Officers (BLOs) are sharing Artificial Intelligence (AI)-generated short videos to help voters understand how to fill offline forms and how to search and verify SIR-2002 details online.

Student Organisations Join Awareness Drive

The Students Islamic Organisation (SIO) Telangana, along with several other student organisations, is also using social media to encourage volunteers to participate in the campaign.

The organisations are appealing to volunteers to help people across the state fill voter registration forms and support the ongoing enrolment drive.
