Hyderabad: As part of the ongoing Special Intensive Revision (SIR)-2026, District Election Officer & GHMC Commissioner R.V. Karnan on Sunday, July 12, reviewed the distribution of enumeration forms and digitisation activities in the 63-Nampally, 67-Chandrayangutta, and 69-Bahadurpura Assembly constituencies in Hyderabad. During the inspection, he directed election officials to expedite digitisation while ensuring accuracy, quality and timely completion of all activities as per the Election Commission of India (ECI) schedule.

R.V. Karnan Inspects SIR-2026 Activities
The inspection was conducted as part of the ongoing SIR-2026 exercise.
Commissioner R.V. Karnan visited the following polling stations:
- 63-Nampally Assembly Constituency: Polling Station Nos. 221 to 230
- 67-Chandrayangutta Assembly Constituency: Polling Station Nos. 224, 226 and 227 at Ravindra Nayak Nagar and Jangammet
- 69-Bahadurpura Assembly Constituency: Polling Station Nos. 1 to 6 at Aliyabad
Commissioner Reviews Enumeration and Digitisation Progress
During the visit, Karnan reviewed the progress of field-level activities related to the distribution of enumeration forms and digitisation.
He interacted with:
- Assistant Electoral Registration Officers (AEROs)
- Booth Level Officer (BLO) Supervisors
- Booth Level Officers (BLOs)
The Commissioner also assessed the pace and quality of the digitisation process.
Officials Directed to Speed Up Digitisation
R.V. Karnan instructed all election officials to expedite the digitisation of enumeration forms across all polling stations.
He stressed that the work must be completed with accuracy, quality, and within the timeline prescribed by the Election Commission of India.
The Commissioner directed officials to ensure timely completion of every activity in accordance with the ECI’s schedule.
