TGSPDCL CMD Conducts Monsoon Readiness Inspection in Hyderabad, Orders Immediate Repairs to Power Infrastructure
TGSPDCL CMD Jitesh V. Patil conducted a monsoon preparedness inspection at Anand Nagar Colony in Hyderabad and directed officials to immediately rectify power infrastructure deficiencies and strengthen maintenance works.

As part of the statewide monsoon preparedness initiative, “Poles and Lines Special Drive – Walk Along the Line”, TGSPDCL Chairman and Managing Director Jitesh V. Patil conducted a field inspection at Anand Nagar Colony under Khairatabad Circle in Hyderabad on Tuesday.

During the inspection, the CMD carried out a line-to-line survey of the power distribution network and comprehensively reviewed the condition of electrical lines, poles, distribution transformers, jumpers, service connections and other electrical infrastructure. He directed officials to immediately address deficiencies to ensure uninterrupted power supply during the monsoon season.
Jitesh V. Patil Orders Immediate Rectification of Network Deficiencies
Reviewing power lines, poles, transformers and service connections, Jitesh V. Patil instructed officials to immediately rectify:
- Network deficiencies
- Damaged infrastructure
- Line clearance issues
The CMD stressed the importance of maintaining uninterrupted power supply during the monsoon and called for accelerated maintenance works, preventive measures and prompt redressal of consumer grievances while ensuring strict adherence to safety protocols.
TGSPDCL Focuses on Reliable Power Supply During Monsoon
To minimize power interruptions during the monsoon season, the CMD directed officials to expedite maintenance works on:
- Feeders
- Distribution transformers
- LT networks
- HT networks
He further instructed them to effectively implement:
- Tree-pruning activities
- Line clearance measures
- Preventive maintenance works
These measures, he said, are essential for ensuring uninterrupted and reliable power supply to consumers during the rainy season.

The CMD advised all officers to continuously monitor their respective network areas and take preventive measures before issues arise.
He emphasized that proactive monitoring and timely intervention would help ensure quality and uninterrupted power supply to consumers across the service area.
