Tolichowki Murder Case Cracked in 24 Hours; Police Nab Auto Driver’s Killer
The Hyderabad police have swiftly solved the Tolichowki auto driver murder case within just 24 hours of the crime being reported.
 
Hyderabad: The Hyderabad police have swiftly solved the Tolichowki auto driver murder case within just 24 hours of the crime being reported.
According to officials, the victim, identified as Mohammed Muzammil alias Ayub (25) of Hakimpet, was allegedly killed by his close friend Mohammed Ishaq alias Khalid (26) following a heated argument.
Investigations revealed that on the night of October 30, both men were consuming alcohol when an altercation broke out over a mobile phone. In a fit of rage, Khalid reportedly strangled Muzammil with a rope, leading to his death. After committing the murder, the accused fled the scene, taking the victim’s mobile phone with him.

Following a complaint, Tolichowki Police launched an immediate investigation. By examining CCTV footage and gathering witness statements, the police were able to trace and arrest Khalid early on October 31 from an OYO room in Hakimpet.
Authorities recovered the Vivo mobile phone belonging to the deceased and also seized the auto-rickshaw (AP 28 TE 4816) he had been operating.
The case was solved under the supervision of DCP (Southwest Zone) G. Chandramohan, with guidance from Tolichowki Division ACP Syed Faiz. The investigation was carried out by Inspector L. Ramesh Naik and his team, who were commended for their prompt action.
