TSSPDCL ADE Caught Red Handed Accepting Bribe

Hyderabad: The sleuths of Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Friday caught TSSPDCL ADE red-handed when he was taking a bribe amount of Rs 30,000 to do an official favour.
Charan Singh, ADE, TSSPDCL, Ibrahirnbagh, Hyderabad was caught in his office when he demanded and accepted the bribe amount of Rs 30,000 from the complainant L Ravi Kumar, Private Electrical Contractor of Puppalaguda Village, Gandipet Mandal in Ranga Reddy District to get the official favour, — for having the file pertaining to fixing of transformer and meter at Secretariat colony, Manikonda approved and also to approve the estimation for shifting HT line at Hanuman Nagar, Manikonda, an ACB release said.
The bribe amount of Rs 30,000 was recovered from the possession of the accused officer when the chemical test conducted yielded a positive result.
Charan Singh was arrested and produced before the Principal Special Judge for SPE as ACB Cases, here, the release added.
