Hyderabad: Hindu right-wing activists set burqa on fire to protest against Muslim girls’ demand for their right to wear hijab in educational institutions. While setting burqa ablaze, the goons were shouting slogans like Bharat Mata ki Jai and Vandemataram.
The video was shared by Ashok Swain, Professor of Peace and Conflict Research while tweeting: “Hindu right wing in UP, India is burning hijab to protest against Muslim girls’ demand for their right to wear hijab in schools & colleges! Hindu right wing goons, before speaking against customs in other religions must need to look at their religion!”
The video was earlier shared by one Ashraf Hussain, an independent journalist, stating that the incident happened in Aligarh, UP.
