Hyderabad: An 11-year-old girl, identified as Sriharika, was critically injured after being hit by a speeding autorickshaw near Yadav Bhavan Hotel at Haider Shah Kote under the limits of Narsingi Police Station on Tuesday. Police traced the autorickshaw using CCTV footage, arrested the driver Arbaz, son of Hasan Ali, seized the vehicle, and registered a case. Further investigation is underway.

Girl Suffers Severe Head Injury in Narsingi Road Accident
The road accident occurred near Yadav Bhavan Hotel at Haider Shah Kote under the jurisdiction of Narsingi Police Station on Tuesday.
According to the information released, Sriharika, aged 11, was stepping out of her house when she was hit by a speeding autorickshaw.
She sustained a severe head injury along with multiple injuries in the accident.
Victim Undergoing Emergency Treatment
Following the accident, Sriharika was rushed to a nearby private hospital.
She is currently undergoing emergency treatment for her injuries.
CCTV Footage Helps Police Trace Driver
Using CCTV footage, Narsingi Police traced the autorickshaw involved in the accident.
Police arrested the driver, identified as Arbaz, son of Hasan Ali.
Drunk-Driving Test Conducted
Police also conducted a drunk-driving test to determine whether the driver was under the influence of alcohol at the time of the accident.
The results of the test were not disclosed in the press note.
