Bangalore: 9 Muslim candidates of Congress have won in the Karnataka assembly elections. This time, the Congress party had given tickets to 13 candidates, out of them 9 emerged victorious. The remaining 4 remained on the second position.
The candidates who won include Raheem Khan from Bidar assembly constituency, Kaneez Fatima from Gulbarga North, Asif Sait from Belgaum North, UT Khader from Mangaloru, Zameer Ahmed Khan from Chamarajapet, NA Harris from Shanti Nagar, Rizwan Arshad from Shivaji Nagar, HA Iqbal Hussain from Ramanagar and Tanveer Sait from Narasimharaja assembly constituency.
