Every year, millions of worshippers from around the world travel to Saudi Arabia to perform Umrah and offer prayers at Masjid al-Nabawi in Madinah. The number of visitors rises sharply during Ramadan, prompting authorities to implement special arrangements to manage the crowd.
According to Arab media reports, separate timings have been designated for male and female pilgrims during the first two Ashras (ten-day periods) of Ramadan.
For male visitors, the first visiting slot has been fixed from 11:20 am to 8:00 pm, while the second slot will be from 2:00 am to 5:00 am.
For female visitors, the timings have been set from 11:00 pm to 1:40 am and from 6:00 am to 11:00 am.
During the third Ashra of Ramadan, three time slots have been allocated for male pilgrims and one for female pilgrims.

Men will be allowed to visit Riyaz ul Jannah from 11:20 am to 8:00 pm, 11:00 pm to 12:00 midnight, and 2:00 am to 5:00 am.
Women will be permitted to visit from 6:00 am to 11:00 am during the final ten days.
Riyaz ul Jannah, located adjacent to the Prophet Muhammad’s (peace be upon him) resting place inside Masjid al-Nabawi, is regarded as a blessed area described by the Prophet as “a garden from the gardens of Paradise.” To distinguish the sacred space, green carpets have been laid in the designated area by the Haramain authorities.
The revised schedule aims to facilitate smooth access for worshippers while ensuring better crowd management during the peak Ramadan season.
