Hyderabad Police Arrest 3 Habitual House Burglars and Receiver, Recover Stolen Gold, Silver and Bikes Worth ₹13 Lakh

Hyderabad police arrest 3 habitual house burglars and one receiver, recover gold, silver ornaments and bikes worth ₹13 lakh in Uppal and Keesara burglary cases.

Hyderabad: In a major operation, the Commissioner’s Task Force Charminar Zone along with Keesara Police arrested three habitual house burglars and one receiver in Hyderabad, recovering gold and silver ornaments and two-wheelers worth about ₹13 lakh. The Hyderabad house burglary gang arrested by Charminar Task Force was involved in night burglaries and two-wheeler thefts in the Uppal and Keesara police station limits of Malkajgiri Commissionerate.

Police officials confirmed that 65 grams of gold ornaments, 400 grams of silver ornaments, three two-wheelers and mobile phones were seized during the operation.

Charminar Task Force Cracks House Burglary Gang in Hyderabad

On March 10, 2026, the Charminar Zone Task Force team, in coordination with Keesara Police, conducted a special operation and nabbed the accused involved in multiple house burglaries and vehicle thefts.

The police action resulted in:

  • Arrest of three habitual house burglars
  • Arrest of one receiver of stolen property
  • Recovery of stolen valuables worth approximately ₹13 lakh
  • Execution of four long pending non-bailable warrants (NBWs)

The arrests helped police solve several burglary cases reported in the region.

Details of the Accused Arrested

Police identified the accused in the Hyderabad house burglary gang case as:

  • Munithani Amar Raj Kumar Reddy @ Doll (28) – Resident of KCR Nagar, Amberpet, known habitual house burglar
  • Abdul Lateef Khan @ Salman @ Gujja (32) – Resident of Shaheen Nagar, New Baba Nagar
  • Gulam Hussain Khan @ Rehan Khan @ Rabbani (32) – Resident of Mohammed Nagar, Bandlaguda
  • Gopalapuram Praneeth Chary @ Laddu (24) – Goldsmith from Uppuguda, arrested for receiving stolen property

Police stated that the first three accused were actively involved in house burglaries and two-wheeler thefts, while the fourth accused purchased stolen gold and silver ornaments.

Stolen Property Worth ₹13 Lakh Recovered

During the Hyderabad house burglary gang bust by Charminar Task Force, police recovered valuables worth about ₹13,00,000.

Seized items include:

  • Gold ornaments weighing 65 grams
  • Silver ornaments weighing 400 grams
  • Pulsar NS 200 motorcycle
  • CB Twister motorcycle
  • Suzuki Burgman scooter
  • Seven mobile phones

The stolen property was recovered after the suspects confessed during interrogation.

Gang Involved in Multiple House Burglaries

Police revealed that the main accused Munithani Amar Raj Kumar Reddy is a habitual offender involved in numerous property crimes.

According to police records:

  • He has been involved in around 88 house burglary cases since 2010
  • He was previously detained twice under the Preventive Detention (PD) Act
  • He was arrested again in 2025 and later released on bail in January 2026

After his release, he allegedly formed a gang with the other accused and resumed committing burglaries and bike thefts in Uppal and Keesara areas.

Stolen Gold Sold to Local Goldsmith

During investigation, police discovered that the gang sold stolen gold and silver ornaments to a goldsmith in Hyderabad.

The accused allegedly:

  • Sold the stolen jewellery to Gopalapuram Praneeth Chary
  • The goldsmith was later arrested by police
  • Stolen property was recovered from his possession

Police confirmed that the accused will be produced before the court for judicial remand.

Police Execute Long Pending Warrants

Along with solving the Hyderabad house burglary cases in Uppal and Keesara, police also executed four long pending non-bailable warrants against the main accused.

The successful operation was carried out by the Commissioner’s Task Force, Charminar Zone, along with the Keesara Police team, who tracked the suspects using technical clues and intelligence inputs.
