Asaduddin Owaisi Along with AIMIM MLAs Raises Housing and Land Regularisation Issues Before P Srinivasa Reddy
Nampally MLA Majid Hussain said AIMIM leaders discussed housing, demolition, and land regularisation issues with Telangana Minister Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy in Hyderabad.

Majid Hussain said that AIMIM MLAs, under the leadership of Asaduddin Owaisi, attended a meeting with Telangana Revenue Minister Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy to discuss long-pending housing and land-related issues in their respective constituencies.

Speaking to the media, Majid Hussain said several major issues related to housing colonies, land regularisation, and demolition notices in the Nampally constituency were raised during the meeting.
According to the MLA, the Minister assured AIMIM representatives that steps would be taken to resolve these issues on priority.
Renovation Demand Raised for Dilapidated 2BHK Houses
Majid Hussain said the issue of more than 200 two-bedroom houses in dilapidated condition in Afzal Sagar, Mangal Basti, and Gudimalkapur VAMBAY colonies was raised before the Minister.
He demanded immediate renovation work for the damaged houses.
“We demanded immediate work and renovation for more than 200 2BHK houses which are in dilapidated condition,” Majid Hussain said.
Bojja Gutta Housing Project to Be Completed Within Nine Months
The Nampally MLA also discussed the long-pending Bojja Gutta housing project and highlighted the difficulties being faced by local residents.
According to Majid Hussain, detailed suggestions were given regarding the steps needed to resolve the issue.
He stated that Minister Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy assured AIMIM President Asaduddin Owaisi that the Bojja Gutta housing project would be completed within nine months.
“The Minister assured before the AIMIM President that the Bojja Gutta housing project will be completed within nine months and handed over to the people,” he said.
Land Regularisation Issues Raised During Meeting
Majid Hussain said the issue of land regularisation in a servicemen colony located in Vijayanagar Colony was also discussed during the meeting.
According to him, families of World War veterans have been residing there for generations, but the issue of regularisation still remains unresolved.
The MLA requested the Minister to bring the land under regularisation at a negligible rate.
He said the Minister responded positively and assured that a policy decision regarding original colony ex-servicemen quarters and regularisation would be taken.
Jangam Basti Demolition Notices Discussed
The AIMIM MLA also raised the issue of demolition orders issued recently for around 30 to 40 locations in Jangam Basti in the Nampally constituency.
He said the demolition process was stopped after AIMIM intervention.
According to Majid Hussain, most of the houses involve only 20 to 30 square yards of land and already have G+1 and G+2 structures constructed on them.
He urged the Minister to regularise the land immediately and provide relief to local residents.
“People should be given relief by regularising these properties immediately,” he said.
Majid Hussain stated that the Minister positively assured AIMIM leadership that steps would be taken for regularisation of Jangam Basti land and housing issues.
Dhobi Ghat Issue in Seetharambagh Also Raised
Majid Hussain said AIMIM President Asaduddin Owaisi personally raised the issue of Dhobi Ghat in Seetharambagh during the meeting.
According to the MLA, Owaisi requested the Minister to regularise the land and provide relief to families living there who are facing legal issues connected to a small court case.
The demand included handing over regularised land to local residents so they could continue living peacefully in the area.
AIMIM Leaders Hope for Early Resolution
Majid Hussain said detailed discussions were held on every issue related to housing and land regularisation in the Nampally constituency.
He expressed confidence that the Telangana government would soon take action regarding the pending housing and land regularisation matters.
The MLA stated that the Minister personally assured AIMIM leadership that the issues would be prioritised and solutions would be worked out immediately.
