Chilkalguda Police Arrest Auto Theft Offender, Recover 4 Two-Wheelers and 1 Three-Wheeler in Automobile Theft Cases

Chilkalguda Police detected an automobile theft case involving two-wheelers and a three-wheeler and apprehended a repeat offender identified as Mykala Naveen. Police recovered four stolen two-wheelers and one stolen passenger auto-rickshaw linked to theft cases in the Chilkalguda and Warasiguda areas. The accused was arrested on 03.06.2026 at 1:30 PM at Chilkalguda Police Station.

The accused was arrested on 03.06.2026 at 13:30 hours at Chilkalguda Police Station.

Auto-Rickshaw Theft Complaint Led to Investigation

Police said that on 02.06.2026 at 09:00 hours, a complaint was received from:

Bijoriye Kamal Prakesh

• Occupation: Auto Driver
• Caste: Teli (BC-B)
• Qualification: Degree
• Address: H.No. 11-2-351, Mylargadda, Near Evergreen Café, Chilkalguda, Secunderabad
• Mobile Numbers: 7842236285, 6303872971

In his complaint, Bijoriye Kamal Prakesh stated that on 01.06.2026 at about 04:00 hours, he parked his passenger auto-rickshaw bearing TS10UA8087 in front of his residence.

The vehicle details are:

• Registration Number: TS10UA8087
• Chassis Number: MD2A498Z3GWF11409
• Engine Number: 24ZWGF63434

After about 10 minutes, when he came outside, he found the auto-rickshaw missing.

Despite searching the surrounding area, he could not locate the vehicle and suspected that unknown persons had stolen it. He requested police to trace the stolen vehicle and take necessary legal action.

Accused Allegedly Committed Multiple Vehicle Thefts

During the investigation, police found that the accused had allegedly fallen into bad company and had become addicted to consuming liquor and smoking cigarettes.

According to the police, he needed money to support these habits and allegedly targeted isolated residential areas where he believed nobody could easily identify him.

Police stated that the accused watched for opportunities to commit vehicle thefts and, as per his plan, committed thefts across the Chilkalguda and Warasiguda areas.

Investigators said the accused was allegedly involved in five automobile theft cases.

   • Registration Number: AP 10 AF 3621
5. Passenger Auto-Rickshaw
   • Registration Number: TS 10 UA 8087

The recoveries were made jointly by Chilkalguda Police Station and Warasiguda Police Station.

The investigation began after the theft of a passenger auto-rickshaw belonging to Bijoriye Kamal Prakesh (53) of Mylargadda, Chilkalguda. Police recovered four two-wheelers and one three-wheeler, including the stolen auto-rickshaw bearing number TS10UA8087. The accused has been apprehended, and the recovered vehicles have been seized as part of the ongoing legal process.
