Veteran Actress Pavala Shyama Found in Distress, Shifted to Shelter Home in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: Veteran Telugu film actress Pavala Shyama was found in a distressed condition along with her daughter Madhavi at the Government Chest Hospital in Erragadda, Hyderabad, after they were reportedly left there by unidentified individuals.

According to hospital sources, staff members who recognised the actress immediately informed the authorities about her presence at the hospital. Following preliminary medical examinations, doctors reportedly found no chest-related ailments requiring treatment at the facility.

Subsequently, officials shifted Pavala Shyama to Osmania General Hospital for further medical evaluation and assistance. However, after undergoing medical examinations there, the actress and her daughter were unable to continue their stay at the hospital and later returned to the Government Chest Hospital in Erragadda.

Upon receiving information from hospital authorities regarding their situation, the police intervened and made arrangements to shift Pavala Shyama and her daughter to a shelter home for care and support.

The incident has drawn attention to the challenges faced by several senior artists in the film industry after their active careers come to an end. Pavala Shyama, who appeared in numerous Telugu films over the years, is well known to audiences for her supporting and character roles in the Telugu film industry.
