During the review meeting, Sudharshan Reddy directed election officials to intensify public awareness efforts and clearly inform voters that failure to submit the enumeration forms within the stipulated timeframe could result in their names being deleted from the voter list.
He further instructed officials to ensure that enumeration forms reach every eligible voter. Booth Level Officers (BLOs) have been asked to conduct door-to-door visits, assist voters in filling out the forms, verify the submitted details, and upload the information to the digital system within the prescribed deadline.
The Chief Electoral Officer appealed to citizens to actively participate in the special revision exercise by completing and submitting their enumeration forms on time to safeguard their voter registration status.
He emphasized that cooperation from the public would help ensure that no eligible voter is unnecessarily removed from the electoral rolls during the revision process.
