New Delhi: A shocking case involving the alleged gang rape of a 16-year-old minor girl inside a sleeper bus has come to light in Delhi, with police arresting the driver and conductor of the vehicle.
According to preliminary information, the incident occurred on the night of August 4. The minor was allegedly sexually assaulted by multiple persons while the bus continued travelling on the road for around 45 minutes.
Police have arrested the bus driver, identified as Kuldeep, and conductor Sandeep in connection with the case. The bus has also been seized as part of the investigation.
The incident has drawn comparisons with the 2012 Delhi Nirbhaya case because of the alleged sexual assault taking place inside a moving bus.
