Chhattisgarh man undergoes critical liver transplant surgery in city
Both the patient and donor recovered well after post operative treatment provided to them within a week itself.
Hyderabad: Atul Kumar Dubey, 40, of Balarampur District of Chhattisgarh State, who was suffering from advanced Cirrhosis liver failure since two years was advised to undergo liver transplant surgery.
He approached Renova NIGL Hospital on the advice of a well-wisher.
After studying the case, Dr RV Raghavendra Rao, Consultant Surgical Gastroenterologist and Liver Transplant Surgeon-cum-Director, Renova NIGL hospital took up the case as a challenge to treat him.
Patient’s wife Mamta Dubey, came forward to donate her liver and the most complex surgery was successfully performed by Dr RV Raghavendra Rao & his medical team at Renova NIGL Hospital.
