AIMIM denies ticket to Ahmed Pasha Quadri, Mumtaz Khan; introduces two new faces

Hyderabad: The All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) has unveiled its list of candidates for the upcoming Telangana Assembly election. Notably, Akbaruddin Owaisi will be vying for the Chandrayangutta assembly seat in Hyderabad, as confirmed by an official AIMIM release. The lineup includes:

– Ahmed Bin Abdullah Balala (Malakpet)
– Jaffer Hussain Meraj (Yakutpura)
– Kausar Moinuddin (Karwan)
– Majid Hussain (Nampally)
– Mir Zulfiqar Ali (Charminar)

AIMIM’s president, Asaduddin Owaisi, who is also the Member of Parliament for Hyderabad, made this announcement. The party is set to contest in nine constituencies, with the addition of Jubilee Hills and Rajendranagar to its roster, alongside the existing seven.

Notably, Syed Ahmed Pasha Quadri and Mumtaz Ahmed Khan will not be contesting but will remain involved with AIMIM. Two new faces Majid Hussain and Mir Zulfiqar Ali have been introduced.
