Another UPSC faculty to praise Islam after Vision IAS faculty
A video of a Hindu UPSC coach praising Islam and the last Prophet of Islam Mohammed (Peace and blessings be upon him) is doing rounds on social media.
Avadh Pratap Ojha, popularly known as Ojha Sir, is a faculty of IQRA IAS, a Maharashtra based IAS training institute. During his lecture he tells the students, “Read history of Islam. It was darkness in the entire world… Women were burnt in Europe in the name of witch-hunting, in India in the name of Sati Pratha and in China they were killed without any reason. The whole world was in darkness. And amidst that darkness, Mohammed Saab stands out with a lamp, Islam… message… love….”
To show how Prophet (pbuh) was kind even to his enemies, Ojha Sir narrated an incident from the life (seerah) of Prophet Mohammed (pbuh). He says “Mohammad Saheb used to walk through the same path every day. A woman would throw garbage on him daily….. One day, that woman did not throw garbage. He (Prophet) went to her house to check on her and found her sick. He said he would pray to God for her.”
He affirmed that Islam did not spread through sword, but through the message.
Avadh Pratap Ojha, who has been teaching UPSC aspirants for over 15 years, is a senior faculty of History at IQRA IAS. He is a lawyer by profession.
