Suicide is tragic: Kavitha
BRS MLC Kavitha reacted on the series of suicides on her X (Twitter) account. She said It was sad that another student of Imampet SC Girls’ Gurukul school in Suryapet mandal committed suicide. She recalled that two students of the same school had committed suicide within a short span of time while wondering as what was happening in Telangana Social Welfare schools?
She questioned the government as to why the students were committing suicide sequentially. She alleged that the absence of a full-fledged social welfare minister meant that the government was unable to address many such issues. She urged the government to immediately appoint a full-time welfare minister and think of counselling the students.
