AP: Three killed, 3 injured as car collides with autorickshaw
Three persons were killed, and three others injured when the autorickshaw in which they were travelling collided with a car at Pusalapadu village in Bestavaripet mandal on Amaravati-Anantapur highway in Prakasam district in the wee hours on Tuesday.

Police said that Guravaiah belongs to Mudlapadu village in Giddalur mandal purchased a new car in Vijayawada. He, along with his father Obaiah, was going to Giddalur in the newly purchased car.
The car collided with an autorickshaw killing Venkateswrlu, Chinna Venkateswarlu and Sriramulu. The three deceased were farmers and boarded the ill-fated autorickshaw to go to their village after selling their chilli produce in the market yard.
After the car hit the auto rickshaw, flames erupted in the autorickshaw in which two of the deceased were burnt alive. The autorickshaw driver Sheik Khashim was among the injured. The son and father duo, who were travelling in the newly purchased car, were also injured in the mishap.
A fire tender rushed there and extinguished the flames in the autorickshaw but by the time the auto completely gutted and two deceased also burnt. The injured were admitted to the GGH in Kambham and later they were shifted to the GGH in Markapuram where the condition of two of them is said to be very critical.
A pall of gloom descended on Darlakunta village with the death of three young farmers in the accident. The police removed the vehicles from the road and cleared the traffic.
