Kothagudem: A woman died due to sunstroke in Kothagudem in Telangana on Monday, triggering panic among residents. This is the first death due to sunstroke in the year 2022.
A woman identified as Lakshmi (60) from Lingapur village died in Gundala of Kothagudem district. She had fallen ill a few days ago. She was rushed to a private hospital where doctors confirmed that it was sunstroke. She died while undergoing treatment at the hospital.
As per the report of The Hans India, the Kothagudem district is reported to have recorded 42 degrees Celsius on the Richter scale.
