The farm has a poultry capacity of 36,000 chickens, with thousands already dead. Health officials, led by Ranga Reddy district veterinary and animal husbandry officer Dr. Babu Beri, took immediate action by culling the infected birds and disposing of them safely by burying them in the soil.
