A stalker brutally attacked and stabbed a 48-year-old woman multiple times.
Hyderabad: In a shocking incident, a stalker brutally attacked and stabbed a 48-year-old woman multiple times in busy Kanchanbagh area of Hyderabad on Friday afternoon.
The victim identified as Syed Noor Bano happened to be his neighbour, in Hafeez Baba Nagar area of Hyderabad.
The CCTV footage which went viral on social media shows the woman crossing the street when the man attacks her from behind in the middle of a busy road. However, the onlookers didn’t dare to intervene.
The woman, is a widow with grownup children, was rushed to Owaisi Hospital for treatment. Her condition is said to be critical, with deep gashes on head, neck, chest and abdomen.
As per NDTV’s report, one of the woman’s daughters revealed that the man had been harassing and stalking her mother. She also informed that they had even lodged a police complaint one year ago.
According to a report, the suspect, Shaikh Nasiruddin alias Habib, had given marriage proposal to the woman, which she refused.
Police is on the lookout for the man.
A local police inspector said the earlier police complaint had been settled with a compromise agreement between the two parties.
