The incident occurred in Hanuman Sai Nagar under the Uppal Police Station limits, and police have registered a case and launched an investigation.

According to the complaint, a young man entered the cosmetic shop on Thursday afternoon and asked for a face wash.
As Sandhya turned back to pick up the product, the accused allegedly snatched the 37-gram gold mangalsutra from her neck and escaped.
When the victim came outside the shop, the accused was nowhere to be seen.
Description of the Accused
In her complaint, the victim stated that the accused appeared to be between 20 and 25 years of age.
She further informed police that he was wearing:
- Black-colored pants
- Brown-colored shirt
