COVID-19: Maharashtra records 784 fresh cases and single death

Mumbai: Maharashtra recorded 784 fresh positive cases of Covid-19 during the past 24 hours along with three virus related deaths, said the health bulletin on Thursday.

With the addition of these new cases, the total numbers of Covid cases in the state goes went up to 81,63,625 and death toll climbed to 1,48,508 The fatality rates stands at 1.81 percent.

Out of the 784 cases, Mumbai recorded 185 cases while single death was reported in Thane.

1099 more patients recovered from coronavirus infection during the past 24 hours and the count of recoveries in the state reached 80,09,885.

With this the recovery rate stands at 98.11 percent.

At present 5,233 patients are being treated in the state, added the bullitin.
