Deccan College of Engineering and Technology Celebrates Grand Graduation Day 2023 in Hyderabad
Hyderabad: On October 14th, 2023, Deccan College of Engineering and Technology, situated in the Darussalam campus, Dar-us-Salam, Hyderabad, marked its Graduation Day-2023.
The event commenced with a recitation of verses from the Holy Qur’an.
Dr. Mir Iqbal Faheem and Dr. Syeda Gauhar Fatima, along with the faculty and students of DCET, extended their heartfelt gratitude to the esteemed Chairman of Dar-us-Salam Educational Trust, Janab Barrister Asaduddin Owasi Saheb, M.P., President AIMIM, and the distinguished trustees Janab Akbaruddin Owaisi Sahab, MLA & Floor Leader, AIMIM, Managing Director, OHRC & AI, and Janab Syed Shah Akbar Nizamuddin Hussaini Sahab, Chancellor, Jamia Nizamia, Islamic University for their presence at Graduation Day-2023.
The ceremonial address emphasized the rich legacy of Deccan Group of Institutions- DCET, DSOP, DSOM, DSHM & DSPA, under Darussalam Educational Trust, nestled in the expansive Darussalam campus. It also recalled the mission, vision, and goals set forth by the founder Hon’ble Chairman (Late) Janab Alhaj Sultan Salahuddin Owaisi Sahab Alaihi rahma, an eminent former parliamentarian, fondly known as Salar-e- Millat. This legacy is now carried forward by our present Hon’ble Chairman Janab Barrister Asaduddin Owaisi Sahab, a towering intellectual, legal luminary, and distinguished parliamentarian, along with the dedicated team of trustees Akbaruddin Owaisi Sahab, MLA & Floor Leader, AIMIM, Managing Director, OHRC & AI, and Janab Syed Shah Akbar Nizamuddin Hussaini Sahab, Chancellor, Jamia Nizamia, Islamic University, Hyderabad. Their commitment to the welfare of the Muslim minority community led to the establishment of DET, with a focus on providing top-tier education in various fields like Medicine, Engineering, Pharmacy, Business & Hospital Management, Architecture, and Computer Applications. The institution’s unwavering dedication to Quality Education is evident through continuous improvements in its systems and processes.
Currently, DCET boasts 1130 students and an impressive global network of 13302+ Alumni.
Dr. Syeda Gauhar Fatima, Principal, DCET, administered the pledge to the graduating students, reminding them to uphold the integrity of this esteemed institution, assuring them that their contributions will be valued and remembered. This was followed by the distribution of certificates.
Present on the dais were Dr. Syed Abdul Azez Basha, Principal, Deccan School of Pharmacy, Ar. Devender Goud, Principal, Deccan School of Planning and Architecture, and heads of various departments including Professor M. A. Nayeem (ECE department), Dr. Syed Razi Uddin (CSE department), Dr. Azra Fatima (EEE department), Dr. Ayesha Ameen (IT department), Dr. Wajid Siddiqui (Civil department), Dr. P. Dhanraj (Mechanical department), Mr. Khaja Mahboob Ullah (MCA department), Dr. Syed Tahseen Hussain (SHM department), Dr. Syeda Kausar Fatima (Head, Training and Placement), ME Coordinator ECE department & Academic Advisor Dr. Quddusa Sultana, and IEDC Head, Prof. Mohd. Aziz Uddin.
The program concluded with a vote of thanks and a recitation of dua by Prof. M. A. Nayeem. Mrs. Rehana Sultana was the anchor for the event.
