ECI Grants Permission for Release of Dearness Allowance to Telangana Employees
The Election Commission of India (ECI) has given permission to release Dearness Allowance (DA) to Telangana government employees.
Hyderabad: The Election Commission of India (ECI) has given permission to release Dearness Allowance (DA) to Telangana government employees.
While three DAs are pending for the employees, the State government has appealed to the ECI to give permission to release one DA.
Consultations were held between the State government and the ECI in this regard. The Election Commission asked the State government why the payment of DAs has been delayed and why they are giving the employees now.
The Election Commission had also inquired about the payment methods of DAs in the past.
On the other hand, the employees unions have also sent their request to the ECI through the Chief Electoral Officer to allow the release of the DA.
Taking all the requests into consideration, the ECI finally gave its nod to release the DA to employees.
