Hyderabad: A woman Assistant Section Officer working as a Section Officer in a key department of the Telangana Secretariat has lodged a complaint with the Chief Secretary, alleging sexual harassment by a colleague.
According to sources, the woman officer approached the Chief Secretary and submitted a complaint detailing the alleged harassment. The complaint has drawn attention within the Secretariat, with authorities initiating action based on the allegations.
The accused officer is reportedly working as a Section Officer in the Secretariat. Sources said that the Chief Secretary, after being apprised of the complaint and other allegations against the officer, issued orders directing that he be surrendered to the Joint Enforcement and Disciplinary Cell (JEDC) for further action.
