Food Safety Raid in Attapur: Officials Find Allegedly Expired Packaged Food at Distributor’s Warehouse, Samples Sent for Testing

Hyderabad: Food Safety officials from Rajendranagar, along with HFAST HCP teams, conducted a surprise inspection at the warehouse of a famous food distributor in Attapur. During the raid, officials allegedly found multiple food products stored in violation of food safety regulations, including several expired packaged food items. Food Safety Officer Soumya said samples of various products were collected for laboratory testing, notices were issued to the distributor, and the matter remains under investigation.

The surprise inspection was carried out by Food Safety officials from Rajendranagar, assisted by HFAST HCP teams, at the warehouse of a famous food distributor located in Attapur, Hyderabad.

During the raid, officials allegedly found multiple food products stored in violation of food safety regulations.

Food Safety Officer Soumya said that samples of various food products were collected from the warehouse and sent for laboratory testing.

She also confirmed that notices were issued to the distributor following the inspection.

The laboratory analysis will determine whether the products meet the prescribed food safety standards.

According to officials, the warehouse reportedly supplies packaged food items to grocery stores across Hyderabad.
