Officials from Cyberabad Commissionerate food safety teams detected cockroach infestation, improperly stored food items, unhygienic kitchen conditions, and operation of the restaurant with an expired food license.

According to officials, food safety teams from CMC conducted an inspection at Udupi Upahar in Moosapet and found several serious hygiene and food safety violations.
The inspection revealed major sanitation issues in the kitchen and storage areas of the restaurant.

Officials listed multiple violations during the inspection, including:
- Slippery kitchen flooring
- Clogged drains
- Cockroach infestation in the kitchen area
- Presence of flies in food preparation areas

- Dough

Officials stated that the wash area was unhygienic and storage containers were untidy.

Officials said the restaurant management failed to produce:

- Stale veg biryani and manchurian were discarded immediately
The restaurant received a Hygiene Score of 40/116 during the inspection.
