New Delhi: The Delhi Taxi and Transporters Association, along with tour operators’ organisations, has announced plans to hold a march to Parliament on August 4 in protest against the implementation of ethanol-blended petrol.
The transporters are opposing the continued rollout of E20 fuel, which contains up to 20 per cent ethanol, citing concerns over its impact on vehicle performance and operating costs.

The protesting transporters have questioned the government’s decision to promote ethanol-blended petrol while petrol prices remain high. The proposed march to Parliament on August 4 is expected to highlight the concerns of the transport sector and demand a review of the implementation of ethanol-blended petrol.
