The campaign, jointly initiated by Igniting Minds Mission, Divya Prem Sewa Mission, and the Indian Social Responsibility Network (ISRN), aims to encourage citizens across the country to adopt sustainable practices and actively participate in conserving energy, water, fuel, and other natural resources.
The poster launch forms part of a nationwide awareness drive focused on environmental protection, sustainable living, and reducing the wastage of valuable resources. The initiative seeks to inspire individuals, communities, and institutions to make simple lifestyle changes that can collectively create a significant positive impact on the environment.
Addressing the gathering, Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla appreciated the efforts of the organizations involved in the campaign and emphasized the need for collective responsibility in protecting natural resources. He highlighted that conservation of energy, water, and fuel is essential for ensuring a sustainable future and called upon citizens to contribute actively towards environmental preservation.
Organizers stated that the campaign draws inspiration from the vision of Prime Minister Shri.Narendra Modi for environmental protection, sustainable development, and public participation in nation building. They noted that India’s progress towards sustainability can be accelerated if every citizen voluntarily adopts resource conservation practices in daily life.
The awareness initiative also appeals to Gram Panchayats, educational institutions, youth organizations, resident welfare associations, and civil society groups to spread the message of responsible consumption and environmental stewardship.
Representatives of the participating organizations emphasized that conserving natural resources is not merely an environmental obligation but also a contribution to national development and economic growth. They stressed that reducing unnecessary consumption can help secure resources for future generations while supporting the country’s sustainability goals.
According to the organizers, the poster release marks the beginning of a larger public outreach programme that will include awareness campaigns, educational activities, community engagement initiatives, and policy advocacy efforts across various regions of the country.
The programme was coordinated by Mr. Mankena Srinivas Reddy, Joint Representative of the participating organizations. Members associated with the initiative include Ainavolu Muralidhar Reddy, Mankena Srinivas Reddy, R.V.R. Prasad, Vijay Bhaskar,, Puthotta Louis Arul Raj, Prashanth, and A. Devender Reddy, President, Hyderabad Management Association.
