Hyderabad: As representatives of Telangana Hockey executive board, appointed to look into the issue of elections of Hockey Hyderabad, myself Ms. Kalyani Singh and Mr. B. Kumar would like to inform you the following:
As per the letter issued by the committee on 12th Aug 2023 to all the members of Hockey Hyderabad all the members were told, not to take any further action till this committee holds AGM.
However, some of the executive board members met on 12th Aug 2023 to hold a meeting. That meeting will be considered null void and any decision taken in that meeting is also considered as null & void.
As mentioned in our letter DT: 12/8/2023, as per the byelaws of the Hockey Hyderabad, only clubs/departments & Institutions can be the members of Hockey Hyderabad. No individual can be a member of Hockey Hyderabad.
Currently there are no clubs / departments and Institutions who are members of Hockey Hyderabad. Hence, in order to conduct any election in Hockey Hyderabad, we have to first recognize and admit clubs / Departments and Institutions.
Only then can Hockey Hyderabad hold its elections. Keeping in view of the above, Telangana Hockey is calling for all the clubs / Departments and Institutions to apply for membership of Hockey Hyderabad.
Telangana Hockey will be conducting a meeting of the old Executive Board of Hockey Hyderabad and all prospective clubs / Departments and institutions on 24th August 2023 at 4 PM at Fathe Maidan Club.
Only the board chosen by the club / department and institution as per bylaws of Hockey Hyderabad shall be accepted by Telangana Hockey.
