Hyderabad: A 10-year-old boy, Mohd Azaan, was injured allegedly after an air pistol misfired at Sultan Shahi in Moghalpura. The boy sustained injuries in the incident transpired on Monday and came to light on Friday.
Mohd. Afsar was firing at stray dogs near his house to drive them away, when the minor boy asked him to shoot at a lizard on the wall. Afsar shot at the lizard, instead the pellet hit the wall and got redirected towards Azaan and hit him. The boy suffered injuries on his back.
Moghalpura police booked a case against Mohd Abdul Afsar (32) after learning of the incident when the boy was shifted to a hospital in Bahadurpura for treatment where his condition is said to be stable.
