Hyderabad: A newborn baby was found in a plastic bag in a parked auto rickshaw. The infant, who is suspected to be three days old, was spotted in a parked auto-rickshaw near Niloufer Hospital in Nampally.
After spotting the child in the vehicle, people alerted the Nampally police. The newborn was shifted to the Niloufer Hospital, where he is being treated. Police registered a case and investigations are underway.
As per the report of Telangana Today, it is being suspected that the newborn was dumped by his parents due to his ill health. Police are verifying the records of recent deliveries registered at nearby hospitals and nursing homes to trace the parents.
