Hyderabad: Numaish extended till this date after stall holders protest

Hyderabad: The All-India Industrial Exhibition popularly known as Numaish has been extended by the Exhibition Society after request by the stall holders. It will remain open till April 14.

Numaish is Hyderabad’s popular annual trade fair which is organised by the Exhibition Society. The exhibition was supposed to conclude on April 8 but has been extended by six more days following request of extension by few stall holders to recover their losses. The timings for the exhibition will be from 4 pm to 11 pm.

However, the fair will remain closed on April 9 and 10 on account of Sriramanavami as per the orders of Commissioner of Police, CV Anand. India Today reported.

Numaish was forced to shut down on January 2, a day after its inauguration due to a spike in Covid-19 cases. It was again reopened on 25th of February after Covid cases dropped.

The traders at Numaish have incurred heavy losses over the last two years.
