Khammam (Telangana): Telangana Chief Minister and BRS National President K Chandrasekha Rao (KCR) on Wednesday called upon voters to reflect on the 60 years of the Congress regime and the 10 years of the BRS regime.

Addressing a campaign rally known as the “Praja Ashirwada Sabha” held in Sathupalli, Khammam district, CM KCR also urged voters to make a comparison between the infrastructure and roads in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.
He pointed out that farmers from the Andhra Pradesh border were now selling their produce in Telangana.

Referring to a challenge posed by a Congress leader that BRS leaders would not be allowed to enter the Assembly, KCR expressed his confidence that the BRS would secure a third term in power.

CM KCR emphasized that voters should carefully consider the party’s background and the development of the state before casting their votes. He urged them not to make decisions solely based on what political figures say, underlining that democratic countries thrive when voters exhibit maturity.

KCR mentioned his initiative, the Dalit Bandhu scheme, aimed at supporting the development of Dalits who have faced various hardships in society. He stressed that this scheme was introduced without external pressure and highlighted its successful implementation in Huzurabad and one Mandal governed by Congress Legislative Party leader Bhatti Vikramarka. CM KCR encouraged people to ponder the achievements and contributions of both Congress during their 60-year tenure and the BRS in their 10-year rule.

He cautioned that a vote for Congress could potentially usher in the return of middlemen dominating Telangana. CM KCR called on the electorate to resoundingly support the BRS candidate, Sandra Venkataveeraiah.
