The Minister conducted a high-level review meeting today at the Secretariat to assess the progress of high-speed rail corridors, with the process ongoing and being fast-tracked in coordination with central authorities.
Hyderabad–Mumbai High-Speed Rail Corridor to Cut Travel Time to 3 Hours
During the review, the Minister stated:
- The Hyderabad–Mumbai High-Speed Rail Corridor will enable travel in just 3 hours
- The Detailed Project Report (DPR) for the project has already been completed
This corridor is expected to significantly enhance connectivity and reduce travel time.
Focus on Chennai and Bengaluru Connectivity via Bharat Future City
The government is also focusing on:
- Providing high-speed rail connectivity to Chennai and Bengaluru
- Developing Bharat Future City as a central hub
This initiative aims to improve regional connectivity and support economic development.
Target of $3 Trillion Economy Through Growth Corridors
The Minister stated that the Telangana government is aiming for a $3 trillion economy by developing:
- Economic growth corridors
- Providing full support for construction
- Ensuring coordination with central authorities to fast-track projects
TIMS Hospital in Sanath Nagar to Be Inaugurated on June 2
The Minister also announced:
- The TIMS Hospital in Sanath Nagar, Hyderabad will be inaugurated on June 2, on the occasion of Telangana Formation Day
The objective is to provide:
- Corporate-level healthcare to the poor
Warangal Super Speciality Hospital Work to Be Accelerated
Officials have been directed to:
- Complete the Warangal Super Speciality Hospital works at the earliest
This move is aimed at strengthening healthcare services in the state.
