The orders, issued under reference G.O.Ms.No.38 Finance (HRM.I) Department, dated 21.4.2026, confirm that transfers will be conducted through an online mode across State, Multizonal, Zonal, and District cadre employees. The process is ongoing and scheduled, with applications to be submitted between 8.5.2026 and 15.5.2026.
Key Transfer Eligibility Rules Announced
As per the government orders, the following rules have been specified:
- Persons who have completed three years in a particular station as on 1.1.2026 are eligible for transfers.
- No persons shall be retained beyond 4 years of service in a particular station as on 31.12.2025.
- Persons who are retiring before 31.5.2027 shall not be transferred even they have completed 4 years.
- Not more than 40% of employees in any cadre shall be transferred.
These rules will govern the transfer process across Telangana.
Instructions to HODs, RJDSE and District Educational Officers
All Heads of Departments (HODs), RJDSE Warangal and Hyderabad, and District Educational Officers under the jurisdiction of Director of School Education, Telangana, Hyderabad have been instructed to:
- Publish required details within the prescribed time in the schedule issued in the GO
- Display information on notice boards and department websites
- Communicate details to all concerned staff
The required details include:
i. Total employees working cadre-wise
ii. List of staff members eligible who have completed 3 years of service at a station
iii. List of persons who have completed 4 years of service and are to be transferred compulsorily
iv. List of existing clear vacancies and compulsory vacancies
Data Submission and Transparency Measures
Officials have been directed to:
- Furnish the above information along with Excel data pertaining to non-teaching staff of concerned HODs/RJDs/DEOs
- Submit within the prescribed schedule as per the GO (copy enclosed)
The department emphasized that the entire process must be conducted in a smooth and transparent manner.
Transfer Application Dates and Process
Eligible candidates are required to:
- Apply with options for transfer from 8.5.2026 to 15.5.2026
- Follow guidelines mentioned in Annexure II of the reference GO
Officials must ensure that all staff are informed and the guidelines are followed strictly.
