Telangana Completes 100% SIR Form Distribution; Hyderabad Records Lowest Digitisation Rate

Hyderabad: The Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of the voter list is progressing rapidly across Telangana, with the distribution of Enumeration Forms now 100% complete, according to the latest data released by the Chief Electoral Officer (CEO)‘s office. Officials said forms have been distributed to 3,38,26,448 voters, while 2,49,47,964 forms have already been digitised, accounting for 73.75% of the total. Hyderabad is currently at the bottom of the digitisation rankings with 50.73%, while the digitisation process for the remaining forms is continuing.

Telangana Completes 100% Enumeration Form Distribution

According to the latest figures released by the Chief Electoral Officer (CEO)‘s office, the distribution of Enumeration Forms for the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of the voter list has been completed across Telangana.

Officials said Enumeration Forms have been distributed to all 3,38,26,448 voters, achieving 100% distribution across the state.

73.75% of Enumeration Forms Digitised

Election officials stated that 2,49,47,964 Enumeration Forms have been digitised so far.

This represents 73.75% of the total forms distributed across Telangana.

Yadadri Bhuvanagiri Leads District-Wise Digitisation

The district-wise performance shows:

  • Yadadri Bhuvanagiri92.74% digitisation (1st)
  • Jangaon89.53% digitisation (2nd)
  • Medak88.86% digitisation (3rd)

These districts are leading the state’s digitisation drive under the Special Intensive Revision (SIR).

Hyderabad Among the Lowest Performing Districts

According to the official data, Hyderabad is at the bottom of the digitisation rankings with 50.73%.

The other districts among the bottom three are:

  • Medchal-Malkajgiri54.89%
  • Rangareddy59.21%

Officials Say Remaining Digitisation Will Be Completed Soon

Election officials said the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of the voter list is moving forward at a fast pace.

They added that steps are being taken to complete the digitisation of the remaining Enumeration Forms as soon as possible.

The Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of the voter list in Telangana has reached a major milestone, with 100% distribution of Enumeration Forms completed for 3,38,26,448 voters. So far, 2,49,47,964 forms (73.75%) have been digitised. While Yadadri Bhuvanagiri, Jangaon, and Medak are leading the digitisation process, Hyderabad remains at the bottom with 50.73%. Election officials said efforts are continuing to complete the digitisation of all remaining forms at the earliest.
