Man Creates Commotion at Medak Praja Vani by Claiming to Be Intelligence Police Officer

According to officials, the man arrived at the Collectorate premises during the Praja Vani programme and claimed to be an intelligence department police officer. His possession of a wireless-like device reportedly raised suspicion among security personnel.

Medak: A man created a commotion at the Praja Vani programme held at the Medak District Collectorate after allegedly posing as an intelligence police officer and carrying a dummy wireless handset.

According to officials, the man arrived at the Collectorate premises during the Praja Vani programme and claimed to be an intelligence department police officer. His possession of a wireless-like device reportedly raised suspicion among security personnel.

When police questioned him about his identity and where he had come from, he allegedly gave evasive answers. Suspecting his claims, the police took him into custody for questioning.

The individual was identified as Bukka Santosh. Following preliminary questioning, police shifted him to the Haveli Ghanpur Police Station for further inquiry.

Police are reportedly investigating why Santosh posed as an intelligence officer and carried the dummy wireless handset into the Collectorate premises.

The incident caused a brief commotion at the Praja Vani programme and raised security concerns at the district Collectorate. Further details are expected after the police inquiry.
