Mumbai: Manoj Muntashir, the dialogue writer in Adipurush, expressed his sincere regret for offending religious feelings through his Instagram account on Saturday.

Following the release of Adipurush on June 16, the film was badly criticised for hurting religious sentiments among Hindus.

The film started facing criticism after the release of its first teaser in 2022.

The film consists of scenes and dialogue that are truly opposite or different from the mythological epics and stories.

The film’s icons were Prabhas, Kriti Sanon, Saif Ali Khan, and Devdatta Nage in the lead roles.

Through his Instagram account, he wrote, “I accept that people’s emotions have been hurt by Adipurush. With folded hands, I extend my unconditional apologies. May Prabhu Bajrang Bali keep us united and grant us strength to serve our sacred Sanatan and our great nation.”
