Hyderabad: Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU) has formalised a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Yunus Emre Institute, Turkey.
The signing ceremony, presided over by MANUU Vice Chancellor Prof. Syed Ainul Hasan, included the participation of MANUU Registrar Prof. Sk. Ishtiaque Ahmed and Turkey’s Consul General Orhan Yalman Okan, who represented Yunus Emre Institute.
This collaborative initiative aims to facilitate reciprocal visits between the academic and administrative staff of both institutions. It encompasses activities such as delivering lectures, engaging in research, developing joint projects, establishing cultural events, and fostering student exchanges.
Additionally, the MoU outlines provisions for the exchange of resident and non-resident faculty members, project development and implementation, and capacity building related to educational, academic, cultural, and scientific matters, primarily focusing on science diplomacy.
The agreement also allows for the provision of technical assistance as needed within the framework of University missions and the Academic and Scientific Cooperation Project of Turkey, a MANUU statement here said on Tuesday.
