Medical Student Dies by Suicide After Jumping from Fifth Floor of Apartment

Medchal District: A 26-year-old postgraduate medical student allegedly died by suicide after jumping from the fifth floor of an apartment in Nagaram West, Gandhi Nagar, in Medchal district.

The deceased was identified as Dikshita, who was pursuing her first year of PG Ophthalmology at a medical college in Bengaluru.

According to reports, the incident came to light after local residents informed the police. Police personnel immediately reached the spot and shifted the body to Gandhi Hospital for post-mortem examination.
