The CBI had earlier registered a case against Sanjeev Mukhiya for his alleged involvement in the theft and distribution of NEET question papers in Bihar. However, after filing a chargesheet against 45 other accused, the agency reportedly stated that while all the accused had been identified, no evidence was found against Sanjeev Mukhiya.
The development has sparked questions among students and raised concerns over the investigation into the NEET paper leak case.
Students have questioned how the BJP-led government can be trusted on the issue of examination paper leaks when strict action is being promised on one hand, while a key accused is allegedly given a clean chit on the other.
