Mid-Air Birth: Woman Delivers Baby Girl on Saudi Arabian Airlines Flight to Jeddah


A 30-year-old Bangladeshi woman gave birth to a baby girl aboard a Saudi Arabian Airlines flight bound for Jeddah. The incident occurred after the flight (number 1546) departed from Tabuk airport.

The flight attendants promptly provided emergency assistance and care. Upon receiving the information, authorities at King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah prepared for the necessary medical aid.

The pilot was directed to park the plane at the nearest gate to ensure immediate attention. A medical team, including qualified Saudi female paramedics, administered the required emergency services to both the mother and the newborn.

After ensuring their stable health condition, they were shifted to the King Abdullah Medical Complex in an ambulance.
