MIM Corporator arrested

Hyderabad: Bholakpur corporator Mohd Ghousuddin has been arrested by the Musheerabad police on Wednesday for allegedly obstructing policemen from performing their duty and threatening them.

According to details, two days ago the policemen were ensuring closure of shops in Bholakpur area after midnight. The corporator along with a few local people stopped the policemen from doing so and allegedly threatened them.

A case has been booked by the Musheerabad police under Section 353 and 506 of IPC.

Police arrested him on Wednesday and remanded.

As reported by Telangana Today, IT Minister KT Rama Rao on Wednesday asked DGP M Mahender Reddy to initiate action against the corporator irrespective of his political affiliation.
