MLC Kavitha receives grand welcome in London
MLC Kalvakuntla Kavitha was accorded a grand welcome by supporters of the BRS party and Bharat Jagruthi at the Heathrow Airport in London on Friday.
Hyderabad: MLC Kalvakuntla Kavitha was accorded a grand welcome by supporters of the BRS party and Bharat Jagruthi at the Heathrow Airport in London on Friday.
Kavitha is visiting London on a two-day visit to attend various programmes, including participation of a meeting where she will address 200+ gender equality advocates, UK policy makers, civil society organisations and Indian diaspora on her journey with the Women’s Reservation Bill.
She attends as a keynote speaker at the Bridge India Think tank event to be held at the Central Hall, Westminster in London.
Kavitha will speak about her journey with the women’s reservation bill which has been passed recently in the Parliament and will also interact with the people of the Indian Diaspora.
Similarly, on the second day of her visit, the MLC will interact with a delegation of students from NISAU and will later attend a series of programmes in London.
