Ahmedabad: The Kutch District Court in Gujarat granted bail to Maulana Salman Azhari in a hate speech case. After obtaining bail, Maulana Azhari was taken to Rajkot Central Jail, from where the Aravalli police will take him into custody in connection with their third hate speech case.

The bail was granted in the second FIR registered against Maulana Islam Azhari in Gujarat. Earlier, on February 7th, Junagadh Court had granted bail to Maulana Azhari.

According to reports, Chief Judicial Magistrate (JMFC) Vaishali Sharma’s court approved bail for Maulana Azhari.

After obtaining bail, the police transferred Maulana Azhari to Rajkot Central Jail, from where now Aravalli police will take him into their custody. This is because a third FIR was registered against Maulana Azhari at Modasa Police Station in Gujarat.
